Wonderful Hinterland

For a break from the sun and the sea you can visit the splendid medieval towns of the hinterland of Romagna. Below are some of the most beautiful small and old villages that we at Negresco Hotel in Riccione suggest you to visit, but the list could be very long. Do not hesitate to ask us information for your excursions, we will be happy to suggest you beautiful itineraries that will allow you to discover the less known areas of our beloved Romagna!

Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna

For the historical centre, the cellars and its strong identity, you will be speechless.

San Leo

Among the most beautiful villages of Italy, mentioned by Dante in The Divine Comedy, only the panorama deserves a visit.

For its majestic castle, love place of Paolo and Francesca, its village and its alleys will bring you back to the past in a real dream.

San Marino

In addition to being the oldest Republic in the world, San Marino is famous for its majestic mount with three pics and its medieval towers clinging to the rock, from which you can enjoy a breath-taking view on the Montefeltro and on the whole Romagna.

Perhaps the least known among the villages cited, but an obligatory stop for those who visit Romagna. Home of the Malatesta family in the early middle ages, Verucchio has managed to maintain the charm of its own intact.

Coriano and Tavullia

The villages of our champions! In Coriano you will find the museum of our beloved Sic, Marco Simoncelli and in Tavullia you can visit the places where Valentino Rossi grew up and still lives.
